Alfa Laval (STO:ALFA) – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal
separation and fluid handling – has won an order to supply compact heat
exchangers to a Liquid Natural Gas plant in the US. The order, booked in
the Energy & Process segment, has a value of approximately SEK 60
million and delivery is scheduled for 2016.
The order comprises the delivery of Alfa Laval compact heat exchangers
for a new processing and liquefaction facility in the U.S. The heat
exchangers will contribute to an energy-efficient process as they
recover and reuse heat in the gas-cleaning process.
“This is an order from an oil and gas customer in the US, to whom we
have delivered similar equipment on a previous occasion. Being a repeat
order, it confirms that we live up to the expectations on product
quality and order execution set by the major players in the industry,”
says Lars Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.
Did you know that… according to EIA proved reserves of U.S. total
natural gas increased by 9.8% in 2014 – or by 34.8 trillion cubic feet
(Tcf) to a total of 388.8 Tcf?
