Alon Blue Square Notified of Results of Meeting of Series C Bondholders

YAKUM, Israel, January 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --

Alon Blue Square Israel Ltd. (NYSE: BSI) (the "Company") announced today that it was notified by the trustee for the Series C Debentures that at a meeting of the Series C Bondholders held on December 31, 2015, the Series C Bondholders resolved to authorize the Series C trustee, following consultation with the representatives of the Series C Bondholders, to postpone, from time to time, the payment date for the upcoming payment of principal and interest on the Series C Debentures from January 15, 2016 until February 29, 2016. 

Following the meeting of the Series C Bondholders, the Series C trustee notified that the record date for the payment of the outstanding principal and interest (accrued from January 1, 2016 until February 15, 2016) on the Series C Debentures (the "Payment") was postponed to February 2, 2016 and the payment date for the Payment was postponed to February 15, 2016.

In addition, the Series C trustee notified the Series C Bondholders that a payment on account of interest on the Series C Debentures which accrued between May 4, 2015 and December 31, 2015 in an aggregate sum of approximately NIS 6,270,000 will be paid on January 15, 2016 to the Series C Bondholders of record on January 4, 2016.
