Briggs & Stratton Corporation's No Oil Change EXi Series Engine Named Among Popular Science Top 100: Best Of What's New

MILWAUKEE, Nov. 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Briggs & Stratton Corporation's (NYSE: BGG) EXi Series Engine was named a home category winner in Popular Science's 28th Annual Top 100: Best of What's New Awards.

Briggs & Stratton's EXi Series Engine is the first gas powered walk-behind mower engine that never needs an oil change*. Consumers no longer must endure messy, time-consuming oil changes. Now consumers "Just Check and Add™" oil for the life of the engine. The EXi engine is designed with an automotive style paper air cleaner that features a radial press-fit seal design to keep the engine free of dirt and debris. Additionally, the Overhead Valve (OHV) design of the EXi engine runs cooler, reducing the oil temperature and slowing the breakdown and decay of the oil.
