(NYSE MKT: EOX) (“Emerald” or the “Company”) announced today the launch of an underwritten public offering of $25,000,000 of the Company’s common stock, subject to market conditions. The Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional $3,750,000 of common stock. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for working capital and for general corporate purposes. White Deer Energy L.P. has indicated an interest in purchasing, through certain of its affiliates, up to $15,000,000 of our common stock in this offering at the public offering price.
