Gener8 Maritime, Inc. Announces Delivery of the Gener8 Apollo and the Gener8 Supreme

NEW YORK, Jan. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Gener8 Maritime, Inc. (NYSE: GNRT) ("Gener8 Maritime"), a leading U.S.-based provider of international seaborne crude oil transportation services, announced that it took delivery of the "ECO" VLCCs the Gener8 Apollo on January 5, 2016 and the Gener8 Supreme on January 6, 2016 from Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering and Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., respectively. The Gener8 Apollo and the Gener8 Supreme represent the fourth and fifth of 21 "ECO" VLCCs expected to be delivered into Gener8 Maritime's fleet.  Upon delivery, the Gener8 Apollo and Gener8 Supreme were entered into Navig8's VL8 Pool.
