(NYSE: GNRT) ("Gener8 Maritime"), a leading U.S.-based provider of international seaborne crude oil transportation services, announced that it took delivery of the ECO VLCCs the Gener8 Athena on October 28, 2015 and the Gener8 Strength on October 29, 2015 from Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering and Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding CO., Ltd., respectively. The Gener8 Athena and the Strength Gener8 represent the second and third of 21 "ECO" VLCCs expected to be delivered into Gener8 Maritime's fleet. Upon delivery, the Gener8 Athena and Gener8 Strength will be entered into Navig8's VL8 Pool.
