Hein & Associates has been named to INSIDE Public Accounting’s (IPA) Best of the Best firms list for 2014, marking the fifth time in the last six years Hein has been awarded such an honor. The 2014 Best of the Best recognition evaluated more than 70 criteria from 540 firms, with only 50 being named to the exclusive list.

“The Best of the Best list is a source of great pride to our firm. We are dedicated to firm-wide training, unique benefits for both staff and clients and client focus which all leads to the path of the IPA Best of the Best,” said Brian Mandell-Rice, Managing Partner of Hein.

The IPA describes its Best of the Best list as firms that: “demonstrate long-term consistency and exceptional performance. In any economy – up or down – clues for what to do, where to focus and how to practice can be found in the IPA Best of the Best. Exceptional client service, commitment to firm wide training, unique benefits for both staff and clients, and specialized client focus all lead to the path of the IPA Best of the Best.”

Hein & Associates was named to IPA’s Top 100 list earlier this month, which ranks firms based on net revenue. The firm has a rich history in the oil and gas industry since its founding in 1977, and more than one-third of the practice is devoted to the oil and gas specialty. Additionally Hein is rated as one of the nation’s leading oil and gas auditing services. According to Accounting News Report, Hein is ranked among the Top 25 auditors serving SEC registrants, and Accounting Today lists Hein among the nation’s overall Top 100 accounting and advisory firms.
