ITT’s Goulds Pumps, Bornemann and PRO Services Brands Host Fifth Annual World of Pumps Quiz

ITT Corporation’s (NYSE: ITT) Goulds Pumps, Bornemann and PRO Services brands are launching the fifth annual World of Pumps Quiz, an online pump knowledge game that has attracted contestants from more than 150 countries. The latest version of the quiz began this week and will run until midnight on April 2, 2016.

The new edition of the World of Pumps Quiz will feature a new question every week that includes interactive elements, such as expert videos, infographics and product simulations. Question topics range from pump history and design to best maintenance practices and smart pumping technologies.

The World of Pumps Quiz is the kick-off event leading up to the annual Pump Appreciation Day industry celebration. Observed on the second Tuesday in April, Pump Appreciation Day recognizes pumps as “the heart of industry” and features awards highlighting outstanding organizations and industry professionals across the globe. These two major pump industry events are now joined as the World of Pumps Quiz is now on the Pump Appreciation Day website pumpappreciationday.com.

Quiz takers can sign up to receive automatic notifications when the next basic question is posted. Over the course of the quiz, participants can answer as many or as few questions as they like.
