Opower Launches Agile EE: A Significantly Upgraded Energy Efficiency Solution

Flexible, innovative set of tools will help utilities turbocharge DSM programs

Opower (NYSE: OPWR), the global leader in cloud-based software for the utility industry, today announced the launch of Agile EE, a major upgrade to its Energy Efficiency solution. With an expanded set of cutting edge new features, utilities can now design programs that drive industry-leading, reliable efficiency savings while also increasing marketing effectiveness, lifting customer satisfaction, and addressing a wide range of demand side management (DSM) goals.

  • Reports that change with each season and can be personalized for different types of customers (high energy users, low-income, AMI or new smart meter customers, and new movers);
  • More ways to drive customers online to web tools including Opower’s Points & Rewards, a redesigned online audit, and the Opower Marketplace, a predictive recommendation engine for efficient products and services;
  • New email and text billing alerts that reach customers when they’re primed to take action or participate in a utility program;
  • The ability to deliver a consistent, engaging experience across web, email, mobile and other channels;
  • The full integration of Opower’s segmentation and targeting capabilities into every program; and
  • Enhanced utility-facing program and data management tools to provide real-time access to results and customer data, and the ability to configure report content.
