PCTEL Showcases New 4G LTE Antenna Portfolio at SPS IPC Drives

Expanded LTE Line Ideal for Indoor/Outdoor DAS, Small Cells, Utility and Oil/Gas Applications

PCTEL, Inc. (NASDAQ:PCTI), a leader in Performance Critical Telecom solutions, announced four new 4G LTE antenna products today at SPS IPC Drives 2015. The new lineup includes two VenU® directional panel antennas and two direct device-mount omnidirectional antennas. These antennas serve multiple indoor and outdoor applications, including DAS, small cells, oil and gas and factory automation. All four antennas provide multiband coverage of 4G LTE frequencies.

PCTEL’s new VenU directional panel antennas provide excellent performance in harsh conditions. The dual-polarized model provides LTE MIMO coverage, while the compact single polarization model maximizes signal gain. Both models feature waterproof, vented designs, rugged UV-stable housings, and flexible mounting options.

PCTEL’s new direct device-mount omnidirectional antennas include VenU and heavy-duty mobile antenna models. The VenU omnidirectional antenna features a UV resistant, low-profile housing with innovative vented design, suitable for outdoor applications. The heavy-duty flexible antenna is protected by a unique housing that withstands the stresses of high-impact environments, including oil and gas service vehicles and remote fixed installations.

"PCTEL's new 4G LTE multiband antennas provide reliability, performance, and installation flexibility. These attributes are crucial for enterprise and mission-critical applications, indoors and out,” said Rishi Bharadwaj, Vice President and General Manager of PCTEL’s Connected Solutions group. "Our ability to solve difficult RF and installation problems has made us the go-to choice for performance critical solutions.”

All new PCTEL 4G LTE multiband models cover frequencies from 690-960 MHz and 1710-2700 MHz.

PCTEL will demonstrate its 4G LTE multiband antenna solutions at SPS IPC Drives, Hall 10, Booth 322-A, Nov. 24-26. All models will be available for shipment by the end of December.
