Reliable One Resources Joins International Green Energy Council

LAKE TAHOE, NV--(Marketwired - Sep 9, 2015) -  Reliable One Resources, Inc., formed to provide patent pending water treatment technology and processes targeted to the oil and natural gas industry, has become a member of the International Green Energy Council (IGEC), an international environmental advocacy association focused on sustainable design practices, renewable energy sources, forms of energy production, and advanced thinking in environmental stewardship.

Membership in the International Green Energy Council underscores Reliable One Resources' commitment to environmental protection and sustainable practices through its core focus of purifying the dirtiest and most contaminated water from oil drilling, decreasing the environmental impact on water supplies, and promoting the reuse of water in oil and natural gas as well as additional industries.

The International Green Energy Council member logo has been placed on the Reliable One Resources website at www.reliableoneresources.com and will be used in the company's marketing and media materials.

"The core focus of our company is to protect the environment from pollutants by transporting, treating and promoting the reuse of recycled water, and joining the International Green Energy Council underscores our firm commitment to environmental protection," said Anthony Feezel, CEO of Reliable One Resources. "We strongly believe in the principles of, and work performed by, the IGEC including government and educational advocacy."

The use of water in oil and natural gas production has skyrocketed in recent years due to proliferation of hydraulic fracturing or "fracking." A 2011 report by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency estimated that up to 140 billion gallons of water per year were used in U.S. fracking operations, a number which has certainly risen as fracking has become more common in the ensuing years. "Produced water" from the industry totals 876 billion gallons, contains contaminants, and is also a major environmental problem when it passes through fresh water tables/zones, risking contamination of additional underground freshwater resources.

"Reliable One Resources' technology gives us the opportunity to make natural gas fracking more environmentally feasible," said Ralph Avallone, Secretary General of the International Green Energy Council. "Natural gas fracking is here to stay and is creating desperately needed new American jobs in a still struggling economy. If we can conserve water and reuse it right on site, then it's a win-win for the economy and the environment."

"The other amazing opportunity that this technology has is to bring clean water to areas all over the world, especially in countries that are in urgent need of this finite and essential resource," continued Avallone.

The impact of water use in the oil and gas industry has only added to the pressure on the country's already stressed water supplies. A persistent draught in the western United States has only exacerbated the stress on water resources as well as the concerns over both below and above ground contamination and pollution. Growing public and regulatory pressure has resulted in state and federal legislation designed to limit disposal wells, curtail industry water use, and encourage water recycling.

Reliable One Resources is utilizing industry proven, patent pending technology and proprietary processes to provide water treatment solutions to the oil and gas industry and potentially additional industries, including mining and agriculture.

Five potential water treatment facility sites have been identified by Reliable One Resources -- one each in North Dakota, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, and Nevada. The company is planning to initially develop two 7,000 square foot facilities, each having the capacity to process approximately 30,000 barrels of fluid per day. Ultimately, the company expects to develop facilities at all five targeted sites, as well as additional locations around the U.S. where there are high concentrations of oil and gas activity.

About the Company

Reliable One Resources was established to meet the increasing need for water treatment, transportation and power generation services targeted to the oil and gas industry. The company is currently planning the development of two initial water treatment facilities in the U.S. with sites chosen for three additional plants. For more information on Reliable One Resources please visit our corporate website at www.reliableoneresources.com. Media inquiries should be directed to media@reliableoneresources.com and general inquiries should be addressed to info@reliableoneresources.com
