Signal Advance, Inc. enters Negotiations with OEM to utilize its Proprietary Technology to Improve Remote Power Systems Management

HOUSTON, TX / ACCESSWIRE / December 17, 2015 / Signal Advance, Inc. (OTCQB: SIGL), an emerging technology company, announces it is negotiating with an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to incorporate its proprietary Temporal Advance Signal Detection technology into current and future remote power system controls under development for a major oil and gas client. The development partner anticipates implementation of Signal Advance technology will improve remote power system management and enhance the efficiency of maintenance and operations thus generating savings.

Initial applications of this aspect of Signal Advance technology will be in oil and gas needs such as remote UPS (Uninterruptable Power System) applications with a plan to expand into ESS (Energy Storage System) applications. Subsequently, it may enter the broader remote monitoring field which includes such applications as compressor/pump operations, tanks monitoring and liquid/gas flow measurement.

Industry data and forecasts are compelling. For example, "…the global environmental sensor and monitoring business will grow from $13.2 billion in 2014 to nearly $17.6 billion in 2019, a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.9% for the period of 2014 to 2019." (Environmental Sensing and Monitoring Technologies: Global Markets, BCC Research, April 2014). "Annual worldwide revenue in the remote sensing power market is currently $770 million--and it has the potential to grow to $1.5 billion annually by 2020 under a base scenario, or to $2.3 billion under an optimistic scenario." (Off-Grid Power for Remote Sensing Applications, Pike Research, Feb 2013).

About Signal Advance, Inc.

Signal Advance, Inc. is a fully reporting, emerging technology company that has developed and is now commercializing its proprietary technology to improve performance in signal detection and control systems. Our proprietary Signal Advance technology temporally-advances complex analog signals. In other words, output of a Signal Advance circuit actually precedes the complete detection of the input signal. These "real-world" signals can represent a wide variety of physical properties such as pressure, flow, position, vibration, temperature, pressure, proximity, bioelectric activity (EKG, EEG, etc.). The signal time advance attained could potentially offset or significantly reduce signal detection delays associated with a variety of sensors to improve performance in control, intervention, and/or signal transmission systems. Reducing or offsetting response delays could improve outcomes for medical interventions, increase energy efficiency, reduce emissions, boost manufacturing and production yields and improve targeting accuracy. Target markets include transportation, energy generation/distribution, military defense, manufacturing, industrial process control, medicine and communications.
