Tom Friedman To Lead Panel On Impact of Paris Accords On Electric Utilities

WASHINGTON, Jan. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Pulitzer Prize winner and best selling author Thomas Friedman of the New York Times will visit the Press Club on Monday, January 11 to lead a panel discussion on the impact of the recent UN Climate Conference in Paris and what it will mean for the U.S. Electric Utility industry and their customers. This program is sponsored by the Club's Events Committee.  Mr. Friedman has written about the Paris Conference and what it will mean in a recent column.

The panel, which includes such energy leaders as: Tom Kuhn, President of the Edison Electric Institute; Larry Kellerman, managing partner at Twenty First Century Utilities LLC; Joe Garcia, former Chairman of the Florida Public Service Commission and a former member of Congress; and Robbie Diamond, the founder of an energy non-profit SAFE; will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the First Amendment Lounge.
