US Seismic Systems® Completes Fracture Monitoring Project in Texas

CHATSWORTH, Calif., Oct. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- US Seismic Systems, Inc., an Acorn Energy, Inc. company (NASDAQ: ACFN) announced today that in partnership with a European oil and gas multinational and a US exploration and production company it has successfully completed a two week  long hydraulic fracture monitoring project.  The project which took place in Texas was at the behest of the European multinational who wanted to assess the capabilities of the USSI technology during an actual frac job.

"This field deployment is another success for USSI, validating six years of intense development of our technology by deploying it into a production setting.  Our previous efforts and the lessons learned all contributed to this recent successful deployment," stated Mark Bashforth, President & CEO of US Seismic.
