PRINCE GEORGE, Va., Jan. 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- VSP Technologies, an engineering service provider focused on fluid-sealing applications, congratulates Dominion Virginia Power's Warren County Power Station for being named Overall Project of the Year and Best Natural Gas-Fired Project at the Projects of the Year Awards during Power Generation Week 2015 in Las Vegas. The awards gala was hosted by Power Engineering, Renewable Energy World and Nuclear Power International magazines to recognize the most innovative, community-focused and technologically groundbreaking power projects from around the world.
VSP Technologies conducted flange securement training for site construction and maintenance personnel and engineers on the project. "We're proud to work with great firms like Zachry Group and others to provide fluid-sealing expertise that ensures safe and reliable connections," noted VSP's Power Generation Business Director Chris Malgee. "VSP provides engineering service and support, as well as product and application support, resulting in increased performance and less downtime for our customers.
