Additional Patents Awarded for Arrows Up Bulk Storage and Transportation Solutions

DENVER

Arrows Up, LLC, an affiliate of OmniTRAX, Inc., one of the largest privately held transportation service companies in North America and The Broe Group, received two patents for its shipping containers this month. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued Patent No. 9,783,338 and Patent No. 9,758,993 for the design, construction and usage of bulk material shipping containers that help shippers of bulk cargo quickly and efficiently load, transport, store and unload commodities like frac sand.

To date, the United States Patent and Trademark Office has granted six utility patents on Arrows Up’s Bulk Material Shipping Containers. Arrows Up has also filed a series of U.S. patent applications on additional containers to meet current and future needs of customers, and it expects the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to recognize the patentability of these further innovations.

“These new bin designs help us manage existing and potential market demands for the loading, transport, storage and unloading of bulk materials. We are committed to leading the industry in innovation to improve the performance of our customers’ supply chains,” said John Allegretti, founder and CEO of Arrows Up.

Allegretti is named as one of the inventors of the patents, along with Anthony Raso and Lyndon Just.

The Arrows Up Jumbo Bin holds up to 25 tons of frac sand or other material, and replaces significant storage and transportation infrastructure in the oil & gas and industrial supply chains. It also creates trucking and rail efficiencies, eliminates the need for dust suppression equipment, decreases product shrinkage by reducing the number of product transfers and can be moved by standard transportation equipment enabling customers to control costs. Arrows Up bins can be used in a wide-range of industries and are easily configured to address the needs of customers shipping a large range of commodities.
