American Plasma Energy Group Assembly and Distribution Center Location Final Search Announced

APEG Narrows Location to Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania Metro Areas for 100,000 Square Foot Facility Providing 500 Jobs

LOS ANGELES, May 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- American Plasma Energy Group (APEG) announced today that it has officially narrowed the location for its new assembly and distribution center to three Midwestern metro areas. APEG will release a full RFP later this month.

The metro areas identified are Detroit, Cleveland and Pittsburgh. All three provide unique opportunities and are centrally located vis-a-vis U.S. population centers. The locations also feature significant connection to both the automotive and energy industries—industries heavily serviced by APEG.

The center will distribute the Plasma Igniter Ignition System through APEG's four divisions: APE Consumer Brands, APEG Military Ignition, American Fleet Ignition, APEG Power Generation. The Plasma Igniter creates historically impossible vehicle/fuel efficiencies, a more efficient combustion of fuel (allowing for leaner burn and more complete combustion), and significantly reduced carbon emissions.

"Early in the process we made a commitment to seek areas that would be geographically appropriate and provide workforces that match up with the new revival of American Ingenuity," said Matt Palumbo, APEG's Director of Community Relations. "We felt it was fitting to go to America's Heartland to create the epicenter of one of the most transformative technologies of our generation," continued Palumbo.

APEG is in the initial stages of manufacturing/engineering, working with outside partners. The center will assemble and distribute the Plasma Igniter Ignition System. It plans to select a final site location by June 2017, and begin construction/build-out later in the summer. APEG executives anticipate the facility will be complete and center employees will start working on site by year's end. Management plans to relocate the bulk of its current staff immediately after site selection.

"This region was the hotbed of innovation and industry at the start the last century, from Rockefeller and Ford to Carnegie the world was focused there," said Elias Chavando, APEG's Managing Director. "We see history repeating itself with a national focus on this region, and wanted to be a part of it—the region is alive, and we are happy to be looking and eventually moving there."

American Plasma Energy Group, LLC is the exclusive licensee and manufacturer of the Plasma Igniter Ignition System for the United States automobile and light-truck aftermarket, all military applications, commercial fleet, and electric power generation sectors. APEG—through its family of products—is committed to reducing fuel consumption and reducing emissions beyond "any" current technology. Its free-market solution and technology is positioned to make the greatest difference today, and for the foreseeable future. Its motto—"The Secret is Revealed"—identifies that fossil fuels are not the problem, but outdated use of fossil fuels is the problem; and that by applying new technology fossil fuels are actually the "real" solution for energy independence, job creation and a clean, healthy, sustainable environment.
