Not changing November’s 2019 spending guidance: $4.5 billion with 70 percent going to shale

Anadarko Petroleum (ticker: APC) announced fourth quarter results today, showing net income of $102 million, or $0.21 per share.

Anadarko produced 701 MBOEPD in Q4 2018, up from 637 MBOEPD in Q4 2017. Yearly production was down slightly, falling from 672 MBOEPD in 2017 to 666 MBOEPD in 2018, but if production is adjusted for divestitures Anadarko’s output grew by 56 MBOEPD.
