Earlier today on November 20, 2017 Ancala Midstream Acquisitions Limited completed its acquisitions of Apache Corporation’s (ticker: APA) interests in the Scottish Area Gas Evacuation (SAGE) and Beryl Gas Pipeline. Anacala Midstream will now own 100% of SAGE North Sea Limited.
According to Anacala Midstream press realease, the SAGE system includes a 323 kilometre, 30-inch bore pipeline and gas processing terminal located in St Fegrus. Gas is transported through the SAGE pipeline from the northern part of the Central North Sea and processed in the SAGE Terminal. The processing is handled on behalf of North Sea gas producers. The imported gas is sourced from nine gas fields, including the Baryl Field.

Anacala Midstream also annouced today that Wood Group PLC (ticker:WG) has commenced a mutli-million dollar contract to act as an operating partner of the SAGE system and Beryl pipeline. Wood will manage day-to-day operations of the SAGE system.
