ASD Global and AspenTech address the needs of both Owner/Operator (O/O) organizations, and Engineering/Procurement/Construction (EPC) firms; to enable them to develop options for the facility, evaluate the cost of each option, and ultimately generate a more accurate cost estimate within an accelerated schedule. ASD’s Design Automation Suite, consisting of OptiPlant, Pipe Support Optimizer, and Pipe Router is interfaced to Aspen Capital Cost Estimator, as well Aspen Basic Engineering, and AspenHYSYS, providing an integrated 3D design environment for the early stages of a project’s development. ASD OptiPlant interfaced to Aspen Capital Cost Estimator provides a solution for cost optimization of 3D designs during the FEL 2 and 3 stages of a project, as well as earlier in the project; and then downstream to FEED and into Detail Design.
