AZZ Inc. Announces the Launch of The AZZ Cares Non-Profit Foundation

The Foundation will provide assistance to AZZ employees and their immediate family members as well as support other non-profit organizations

FORT WORTH, Texas, Nov. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- AZZ Inc. (NYSE: AZZ), a global provider of metal coating services, welding solutions, specialty electrical equipment and highly engineered services, today announced the launch of The AZZ Cares Foundation (the "Foundation"), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization formed on December 21, 2017 and qualified as a charitable fund on August 29, 2018.

The mission of the Foundation is to provide assistance to the employees and families of AZZ and its subsidiary companies who are impacted by an emergency, disaster, or personal hardship. Additionally, the Foundation plans to support and enhance other organizations that are exempt from taxation as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Code and organizations described in Section 170(b)(1)(A)(i)-(vi) of the Code.
