From the New York Business Journal

When busy New Yorkers are on the go, sometimes it’s difficult to locate a restroom when you literally have to go. That’s especially the case for those who have find themselves holding it in while they’re stuck in Penn Station.

Now, there’s an app that not only allows you to find a bathroom, but reserves it Airbnb-style. Also, after making the reservation, users can waddle into the bathroom without having to endure a line.

The startup behind this gig is Rockaloo, dubbed “the most unexpected VIP e-ticket in town.”

Akin to Where to Wee, the company uses GPS technology to locate toilets for its users.

Founded by the trio of David Sirieix, Yvan Bedouet and Binoy Wilson, Rockaloo has partnered with more than 130 different locations across three boroughs — Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.

It works by granting users access to private bathrooms for one hour.

The app charges anywhere from 99 cents to $8.99 for a pass that allows users to reserve a toilet at a variety of establishments, including restaurants and bars. They can show their pass so they don’t have to buy something in order to use the facilities.
