CALGARY, Nov. 10, 2016 /CNW/ - Butte Energy Inc. (the "Company") (TSXV: BEN) announces today that effective with the opening of trading on Monday, November 14, 2016, the Company's common shares will commence trading on the NEX board of the TSX Venture Exchange ("TSXV") under the symbol BEN.H.

The Company has not maintained tier maintenance requirements for a TSXV Tier 2 issuer. Therefore, a transfer of the Company's listing to the NEX Board of the TSXV from Tier 2 of the TSXV Exchange will occur.

There will be no change in the Company's name, no change in its CUSIP number and no consolidation of capital. NEX is a separate board of the TSXV that provides a trading forum for publicly listed companies while they assess their business plans, operations, and formulate a strategy to reactivate their businesses for future growth.
