Cash Crunch - PTDF to Review Oil Projects, Trainings

Faced with the reality of global challenges in the oil and gas industry, the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) has proposed a holistic review of its activities with a view to identifying and focusing on key areas.

PTDF is the government agency that builds human capacity in the oil and gas sector, through education and training.

The acting executive secretary, PTDF, Mr Ahmed Aminu Galadima, constituted a committee to review the current operations of the fund in order to provide the right level of manpower support to the Nigerian oil and gas industry.

While inaugurating the committee, Galadima harped on the necessity to adjust and respond to the current realities of dwindling financial resources by being proactive and innovative in delivering the mandate of PTDF.

Members of the committee were drawn from projects, education, finance and account, research and documentation and legal departments with Miss Jacqueline Guyil as chairperson.
