Citi Retail Services will continue to provide consumer credit card
services to Shell
Citi Retail Services today announced a long-term agreement with Shell
Oil Products US to continue to provide a suite of private label and
cobrand credit cards to customers in the United States.
Citi Retail Services is one of North America’s largest and most
experienced retail credit solution providers, helping retailers grow
through private label and cobrand card programs, retail industry
insights, transaction data analytics, and fully integrated marketing and
loyalty programs.
“Citi Retail Services has worked closely with Shell for 19 years and we
are excited to continue to work hand-in-hand with this iconic brand,”
said Doug Krapcho, Head of Partnership Management. “We look forward to
leveraging our industry knowledge, analytics and product capabilities to
bring innovative offerings to Shell customers in the years ahead.”
Among the credit card options that Citi will provide is the Shell Drive
for Five® Card, which offers customers that purchase fuel at Shell
branded stations across the US the opportunity to save 5 cents per
gallon on every fuel purchase with no minimum purchase requirements and
no maximum savings cap. Cardmembers may earn additional savings if they
enroll in Fuel Rewards.
“We have a long history of working closely with Citi Retail Services,”
said Chris Suess, General Manager Payments North America at Shell. “We
look forward to what this renewal will bring for our customers across
the United States.”
