CohnReznick Capital Markets Securities Hires Senior Industry Leader

CohnReznick Capital Markets Securities, a leading renewable industry advisory firm, today announced that industry veteran Tom Weirich is joining the practice as Director of Marketing & Business Development.

Mr. Weirich brings nearly 15 years of global renewables experience focused on corporate relations, marketing and business development. He joins the firm from the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) where he held a number of roles with escalating responsibility spanning 12 years. Most recently, Weirich was Senior Vice President of Corporate Relations, leading ACORE’s efforts in corporate business development, public affairs, and international programs. Among many additional senior industry roles, he most recently served as an advisor to the Office of the US Trade Representative (USTR), with additional past appointments as Vice Chair of the Secretary of Commerce’s Renewable Energy & Efficiency Advisory Committee (REEAC) and Chair of North America for the World Council on Renewable Energy (WCRE).

Weirich holds an M.A. in International Development from the University of Chicago and a B.S. in Foreign Service with Honors from Georgetown University. He is fluent in Czech, speaks German and Spanish, and is currently learning Mandarin Chinese.
