Bill may finish its journey this week
The 2019 Democrat-controlled Colorado legislature has toggled Senate Bill 19-181 through six committees in both houses at record speed.

The bill, which seeks to give the siting and permitting decisions for new wells and other oil and gas operations to local governments, a function that has been reserved for the State of Colorado previously, has successfully passed by vote in six committees: Senate Transportation & Energy and House Energy & Environment, plus the Finance and Appropriations committees in both houses.
