PHILADELPHIA, PA--(Marketwired - September 29, 2016) - On September 27, 2016, Customized Energy Solutions, Ltd. presented the findings of the Massachusetts "State of Charge" Study at a public stakeholder event at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston. The "State of Charge" report was commissioned as part of the Massachusetts Baker-Polito Administration's Energy Storage Initiative (ESI), an initial $10 million investment that recognizes the potential benefits of incorporating advanced storage technologies into Massachusetts' energy portfolio. The Study's consultant team was led by Customized Energy Solutions and included Sustainable Energy Advantage, Daymark, and Alevo Analytics.

After opening remarks by Department of Energy Resources (DOER) Commissioner, Judith Judson, and Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) Interim CEO, Stephen Pike, the Study Team presented key findings of the "State of Charge" report. This included an analysis of the national and Massachusetts storage industry landscape, market opportunities for energy storage, economic and workforce benefits to Massachusetts, and energy storage use cases.
