Dayton Power and Light Customers Seeing a Redesigned Bill this Month

The Dayton Power and Light Company (DP&L), a subsidiary of The AES Corporation (NYSE: AES), is releasing a redesigned bill this month that features a modern, easy-to-read format and provides additional energy information for customers.

Customers will first notice the new larger size and appearance of the bill, making it clear, fast and easy to read.

Additionally, customers will find information to help them track their energy usage and help them save on energy costs. The new bill has a visual representation of kilowatt usages for current, previous and last year-to-date billing cycles. There also is a Message Center where DP&L can provide important energy efficiency tips or other timely news to customers.

The new bill identifies each customer’s electric generation supplier, in case they have questions.

A new bill design example is on the DP&L website. To help customers understand all the changes, DP&L has also created a video highlighting a number of features on the new bill.

“Customers asked DP&L to provide them an easy to read energy bill with detailed monthly information about their accounts. This redesigned bill allows them to see how they are using energy so they can make informed and smart decisions that fit their lifestyles,” said DP&L President and CEO Tom Raga.
