EnerCom’s Texas-based oil and gas investment conference started with a morning surprise of rare icy roads greeting visitors to Dallas, but that didn’t slow down institutional investors arriving at the Tower Club to hear oil company senior management teams present their 2018 plans and 2017 highlights. Attendees began arriving at the Thanksgiving Tower before 7:00 a.m.

Vermilion Energy (ticker: VET), Earthstone Energy (ticker: ESTE), Panhandle Oil & Gas (ticker: PHX) and Goodrich Petroleum (ticker: GDP) started the stream of public oil and gas company presentations, after a conference introduction and industry overview by EnerCom CEO Glen Parrott and speaker introductions by John LaPorta and James Harden of Hein/Moss Adams and David Preng, CEO of Preng & Associates.

The EnerCom Dallas 2018 company presentations are being webcast live at the conference website.

Surge Energy (ticker: SGY), Alta Mesa Resources (ticker: AMR) and Evolution Petroleum (ticker: EPM) wrapped up the morning’s public oil and gas company presentations.

Dallas Federal Reserve Bank Senior Vice President and Research Advisor Mine Yücel addressed the crowd before the lunch break, discussing inputs from U.S. shale on global oil and gas markets and the effects of oil and gas prices on the overall economy and many related aspects of the global energy commodities sector.
