EnerCom Dallas sees more than 650 registrations, setting a record for EnerCom’s Q1 conference

More than oil prices have gone up since last year.

EnerCom Dallas hosted more than 650 registrants for its inaugural event, more than any other conference hosted by EnerCom Inc. in the first quarter. The mood was optimistic as companies presented their growth plans, moving out of the most recent downcycle, and focused on using new technologies and efficient drilling practices that will make them successful moving forward.

It was standing room only for the morning sessions both days, and members of the industry shook hands and traded laughs with investors and analysts at the Tower Club in downtown Dallas. More than 230 one-on-one meetings were scheduled for March 1st and 2nd as the investment community took advantage of the unparalleled access to oil and gas executives.

Nearly 40 presentations were heard over the course of the two day conference, with companies representing operations from around the globe. The Permian remained a popular topic of discussion, but many of Canada’s E&P companies had attendees excited about the possibility of other plays further north of the Permian, including several Montney, Duvernay and Viking pure plays.
