James Townsend, president and CEO of Rosehill Resources Inc., (ticker: ROSE) presented today at EnerCom’s The Oil & Gas Conference® 22.

Rosehill is an oil and gas producer formed in 2017, following the merger of Tema Oil and Gas Company and KLR Energy. The company is undergoing development within its 5,000 net acres in the Delaware basin.

During the company’s breakout session, management was asked the following questions:

  • What is the plan on the acquisition front? How much transactions to get another 5,000 acres?
  • Is your primary focus on bolt on acreage or are you looking at acreage near your area?
  • Has there been any discussion on acreage swap with the big players to do extended lateral drilling?
  • By the industry hedging at $50 per barrel did you mean that it is has kept service costs down or that it has become a ceiling for the industry to break through?
  • Can you please talk about your water disposal in more detail?
  • Do you have sufficient information from the wells you drilled about well density? Have you seen any pressure communication between the wells you have drilled?
  • Is there increased cost from the rig movements?
  • What is your ultimate well count depending on the pad size?
  • Can you expand on your choke management? And what is your rough choking size?
  • What are your GOR’s?
  • Do you have an opinion about the bubble point pressure?
  • Can you talk about your acquisition pipeline relative to what is out there? How would you fund such acquisitions?
