Current RRC Stock Info

Jeffrey L. Ventura, chairman, president and CEO of Range Resources Corp., (ticker: RRC) presented today at EnerCom’s The Oil & Gas Conference® 22.

Range Resources is a natural gas producer that pioneered the Marcellus Shale play and holds a dominant position there, with approximately 610,000 net acres. The company also has 220,000 net acres of natural gas production in Northern Louisiana’s Lower Cotton Valley formation.

During its Q2 earnings call, Range indicated that its production across its assets reached 1.945 Bcfe per day—approximately 1.5 Bcfe per day of which was sourced from its Marcellus acreage with the north Louisiana portion making up the remainder. Range expects that it will turn in line 169 wells by the end of 2017.

During the company’s breakout session, management was asked the following questions:

  • Can you tell us about capital allocation for 2018, considering the Terryville asset?
  • What drives your growth plan—is it cash flow or something else?
  • How long will it take, and how do you plan to fill new takeaway capacity?
  • How are your F&D, differentials, margins, etc., going to change in the future?
  • Can you talk a little about stock performance recently and what performance will look like post-Terryville?
  • Can you talk about your completions strategy in the Terryville?
  • Can you also talk about gas takeaway near the Terryville?
  • Are you considering monetizing assets in the Marcellus?
  • What’s left in the portfolio that may be monetizable?
  • Into 2018, how will cash flow look there and beyond?
  • Have frac-hits bad an impact on inventory in the Terryville?
  • What’s your hedging strategy for the future?
