Energistics Elects Tommy Husvaeg and Bryan Pate to Its Board of Directors

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Jul 5, 2016) -  Energistics announced today that Tommy Husvaeg, Principal Director, Accenture, and Bryan Pate, Upstream Technical Data Support Manager, ExxonMobil, have been elected to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Husvaeg is responsible for the Accenture Upstream Subsurface, Wells and Production Operations Global Services. He has more than 33 years of experience in providing Global Strategic Information & Technology Leadership to the Oil & Gas industry across the Upstream Petrotechnical value chain. Prior to joining Accenture, Tommy worked as the BP Upstream Head of IT for the Global Operation Organization, Upstream Engineering and Safety & Operational Risk and has extensive experience and knowledge of Production Operations.

On his election as a board member of Energistics, Tommy said, "I am honored to be a part of Energistics and its esteemed Board and I look forward to knowledge sharing and opportunities to collectively influence our industry to adopt open data exchange standards."

Mr. Pate has been with ExxonMobil for 20 years and has held numerous technical leadership positions in Upstream, Downstream and Chemical as well as serving in planning and advisor roles. In his current role as Upstream Technical Data Support Manager he manages oversight of upstream technical data activities including data management, standards, strategies and solutions.

On his election as a board member of Energistics, Bryan said, "I am honored to have been asked to join the Energistics Board and I am looking forward to working with the board to drive increased industry value through the use of data exchange standards."
