‘Energizing a More Secure, Resilient, & Adaptable Grid’ the Focus of the IEEE Power & Energy Society General Meeting in Chicago, 16-20 July 2017

Annual conference attracts more than 3,000 power industry attendees to collaborate on global industry challenges and opportunities

The IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) today announced its annual General Meeting is being held at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Hotel, Chicago, Illinois, 16-20 July 2017 with the theme, Energizing a More Secure, Resilient, & Adaptable Grid.

Expecting more than 3,000 professionals, the 2017 IEEE PES General Meeting is an international forum for practicing power engineers, utility executives, academics and government officials to promote, share and debate complex current and future issues and developments in the field of electrical power engineering.

   

WHAT:

IEEE PES at its 2017 General Meeting will provide a forum for experts to share information and best practices related to microgrids, distribution system analysis, future grid scenarios, synchrophasor technology, grid resiliency and more.
 
The IEEE PES General Meeting will feature exceptional super sessions, plenary presentations, technical programs, tutorials, standards development activities, technical tours and student programs.
