ENMAX Energy Selects Opower to Improve & Expand Customer Engagement

Customers will receive NextWeb portal, Home Energy Reports, and more

Opower (NYSE: OPWR), the global leader in cloud-based software for the utility industry, announced today that it has been selected by ENMAX Energy, an energy retailer headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, to improve and enhance the customer experience with Opower’s Energy Efficiency, Digital Engagement and Bill Advisor products.

As part of ENMAX’s My Energy IQ™ program, Opower will deliver Home Energy Reports and its NextWeb online portal to customers, equipping them with more control over their energy usage and insights that make it easy to save money and energy on their monthly bills. The program will be powered by Opower’s analytics engine, which has processed over 500 billion meter reads to date — more residential energy data than any other company on earth.
