Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE:EPD) today announced that the board of directors of its general partner has elected Craig W. Murray as Group Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Harry Paul “Hap” Weitzel as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel and Vijay A. D’Cruz as Vice President, Litigation. Each of the appointments is effectiveJanuary 5, 2015.
Most recently, Mr. Murray was a Senior Partner at Vinson & Elkins LLP in Houston where he focused primarily on corporate and energy-related finance, including pipeline financing. His energy finance experience has involved oil and gas properties in all major producing states, as well as the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Murray earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee and a JD from the Louisiana State University Law Center.
Mr. Weitzel has extensive experience as a commercial litigation partner with several firms, most recently atPepper Hamilton in Irvine, California. His area of practice has been in civil trials and arbitrations in which he has successfully represented individual, corporate and governmental clients as plaintiffs and defendants. Mr. Weitzel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Texas Christian University and JD from Harvard Law School.
A member of the Houston office of Locke Lord LLP since 2000, Mr. D’Cruz has been Litigation, Energy & Construction Partner since January, 2009. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and a JD from the University of Houston School of Lawwhere he also served as an Adjunct Professor.
