Elk is an Australian energy company that operates in the northern Rocky Mountains in the western U.S. Elk’s primary asset is the Aneth Field where it applies established enhanced oil recovery (EOR) technologies to the mature oil field.
Elk CEO Brad Lingo has long-held experience in new ventures, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance with Tenneco Energy and El Paso Corporation in the U.S. and Australia, and he served as SVP and Head of Oil & Gas at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. More recently he was Managing Director and CEO of Drillsearch Energy Limited, where he oversaw an eight-fold increase in share price and market cap over a period of six years, helping build that company into one of Australia’s leading onshore oil and gas producers.
