Heal Systems: doubling production consistently in operators’ wells
At its recent Oilfield Tech & Innovation Day, EnerCom’s Oil & Gas 360® conducted an exclusive video interview with Heal Systems CEO Jeff Saponja.
Heal Systems and its majority shareholder Production Plus Energy Services found through extensive field trials over eight years that slug flow mitigation is the key to solving artificial lift challenges. With even and conditioned fluid flow, artificial lift systems are able to perform more efficiently and more reliably.
Heal Systems is half-owned by joint venture partner Schlumberger (ticker: SLB).
The HEAL System was invented to mitigate slugs and smooth flow from horizontal wells. It is a patent-pending downhole solution that easily joins to the horizontal as part of a standard well completion. By conditioning flow from the horizontal, the Heal System enables an operator to maximize drawdown and minimize costs over the life of the well.
