FORT WORTH, Texas, March 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Falcon Steel America has launched an aggressive initiative to enhance its position as the only one-stop resource for the design, engineering, fabrication and delivery of American-made steel structures for power transmission and distribution (T&D) companies.
As the only fabricator of high voltage steel-lattice towers in the United States, Falcon Steel America also produces monopoles and substations primarily used by utilities and power companies. The Fort Worth-based company also fabricates steel structures for the transportation industry, and is targeting other industry segments as part of its strategic growth plan.
The company currently operates three plants in Haltom City, Kaufman and Euless, Texas. According to Jim Taylor, CEO, each plant now has the flexibility to fabricate all three of the company's core T&D product lines, as well as to expand into other types of steel fabrication products.
