FSG Adds Two Senior Executives to Management Team to Lead Buisness Development and Logistics

Frontier Services Group Limited (“FSG”) (SEHK: 00500), a publicly listed company that delivers bespoke supply chains and logistics solutions in Africa, today announced that it has added two senior executives to its management team.

Anna Hensel joins the FSG team as the new Senior Vice President of Business Development with more than 20 years of senior executive experience in Africa and the Middle East. Anna was previously with GardaWorld as the Director Extractives following their acquisition of Aegis Defence Services Ltd, where she had served as Director Oil & Gas, since 2010.

Pete Phillips, Chief Operating Officer of FSG stated, “Anna has the experience, relationship networks and hard skills necessary to be successful in the frontier markets where we operate. We are delighted to have her on our team."

Prior to joining Aegis, Anna was manager of Upstream Business Intelligence at Marathon Oil Company, where her team advised on policy and commercial initiatives impacting Marathon's business operations and business development. She was previously manager of External Affairs in Marathon's London Office representing the interests of the company's international operations in Africa, Asia and Europe.

“Effective logistics is the key to further unlocking Africa’s economic potential and FSG is moving fast to be the preferred multi-modal provider for the continent. It’s a great place to be at an exciting time,” Ms. Hensel stated.

Anna graduated from the School of International Service at American University. She was awarded the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Fellowship for graduate studies at the Geschwister Scholl Institut, Ludwig Maximilians University.

Tom Shortley joins the FSG team as Vice President of Logistics. He is responsible for the development, implementation, and build-out of FSG’s pan-Africa service network.

Mr. Shortley brings 25 years of international public- and private-sector logistics and supply chain experience, with a background managing global, cross-functional programs for several leading freight forwarders. Prior to his transition to the commercial sector, Tom served for 13 years with the United Nations, where he managed disaster response and stabilization programs, primarily in Africa.

Commenting further on the new team members, FSG Chief Operating Officer Pete Phillips said, “Tom will be instrumental in this new role, developing FSG’s operations network and partnership strategy to provide multi-modal customer solutions moving people, goods and materials into and throughout Africa.”

“I am thrilled to be joining a dynamic company like FSG and look forward to bringing together our service verticals to deliver the unique solutions required to operate in Africa,” said Mr. Shortley.

Anna Hensel and Tom Shortley will both report directly to Mr. Phillips.
