GSTC, the world's premier trade association for the syngas and gasification industries, is making the exclusive offer available on both levels of its membership. Anyone joining this year will receive the same level of membership next year free of charge.

Formerly known as the Gasification Technologies Council, the association expanded this year to encompass the syngas production, processing and conversion industries.

"We're making this special offer to mark our expansion and highlight the many rewards of joining GSTC," said Alison Kerester, GSTC's Executive Director. "Our members receive numerous benefits, including opportunities to develop new business, access important industry data, and network with top experts and corporate leaders."

GSTC members come from around the globe. They include technology providers, engineering companies, equipment and service providers, as well as plant owners and operators in the energy, power, chemical, fuel, and waste management industries.

Kerester noted that GSTC members earn a significant return on their investment, including:

  • Business development opportunities generated by strategic global and domestic marketing programs;
  • Networking opportunities that include exclusive meetings with industry executives, experts and governmental organizations;
  • Access to outreach materials to inform citizens, regulators and legislators about the benefits of gasification. GSTC is currently developing outreach materials to cover other syngas-producing technologies as well.
  • A comprehensive gasification industry database, as well as a new steam methane reforming database that is under development for members only.

"There's good reason why GSTC is the leading trade association focused on the gasification and syngas industries," Kerester said. "We focus on the areas most important to our members. That includes promoting the many ways that gasification and syngas technologies improve our world, and spearheading numerous initiatives to help our members develop new business opportunities."

GSTC also hosts the syngas and gasification industries' most influential conference. This year's Gasification and Syngas Technologies Conference will be held Oct. 16-19 in Vancouver, Canada.

The conference will highlight markets for syngas production, conversion and use, provide the latest developments on global projects, and feature the most important trends in the industries.

The annual conference attracts participants and media from around the world. It is widely considered the industries' best networking opportunity of the year.

GSTC recently issued a call for presentations for the conference. Abstracts are due by April 30 and can be submitted at www.gasification-syngas.org.

Questions can be submitted to Kerester, GSTC's Executive Director, by emailing her at akerester@gasification-syngas.org or by calling her at +1-703-276-0110.
