Genel Energy plc Announces Receipt of payment for KRI oil exports from Taq Taq field

Genel Energy plc ('Genel') announces that the Taq Taq field partners have received a payment of $15.16 million from the Kurdistan Regional Government for oil sales during May 2016.

The payment follows the receipt of $10 million as announced on 20 June 2016.

The payment completes settlement of the invoiced amount of $25.16 million for May 2016 Taq Taq oil sales, an amount that incorporates $21.02 million towards contractor monthly entitlement and $4.13 million towards recovery of historical receivables.

Genel's net share of the May 2016 Taq Taq oil sales payments is $13.84 million.
