Global Petroleum Show Ready to Explore Future of Energy Sector

Annual energy event set to welcome industry professionals looking to examine the evolving energy landscape

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - May 18, 2016) -

WHAT:

Global Petroleum Show (GPS) will kick-off in Calgary, Alberta from Tuesday, June 7 to Thursday, June 9 at Stampede Park. The annual event will welcome industry professionals from across the globe to discuss timely and relevant topics as they relate to the oil and gas industry. As the industry continues to respond to both the current economic climate and the ongoing challenges in the Fort McMurray region, the Show and its impact on the oil and gas industry are more important than ever.

This year, GPS will prioritize its focus, offering attendees the opportunity to collaborate, connect and discuss industry trends in this unstable and ever-changing market. Examining the theme, "Explore and Develop", the Show is anticipated to welcome more than 50,000 attendees from 20,000 companies, spanning more than 85 countries who are looking for innovation to drive down operating costs and stimulate drilling activity.

GPS will also offer executives, engineers and industry leaders the opportunity to connect with clients, suppliers and potential customers from across the globe. Attendees are provided a forum to discuss industry trends and collaborate on solution-oriented thought processes so they can take steps towards upgrading services, improving efficiency during times of downsizing, and repositioning business strategies to mirror the industry.

Early bird registration is now open. Those who register before May 31, 2016 will receive a free, three-day exhibition pass. Advanced registration is open from June 1 - 6 for $75; standard registration is open as of June 7 for $125.
