Global Water Summit 2016 - Water in 2050: What Issues Need to be Addressed for the Water Industry to be Viable in 2050?

Now with the domestic economy slowing, these financial behemoths are turning to focus on international opportunities in the rest of the world. This session brings together five of the most successful Chinese water businesses to explain their international strategy.

Accessing Global Growth Markets - Success in the water industry is getting the timing right: identifying the market trends that are relevant to your business and will yield lucrative deals if entered into at the right point. This session brings together the data, analysis and narratives that will help you work 2016 to your best advantage and plan your future business strategy.

Risk management in PPP project finance - PPP projects are expensive to develop and many fail before they reach contract award. What can be done to improve the success rate? This session brings together public sector clients considering PPPs, private developers and the bi-lateral and multi-lateral agencies involved in PPP finance to discuss solutions & make recommendations.

Renewables in Desal: Electrons versus Photons - What does renewable energy mean for the desalination industry? The New Economics of Desalination - Increasingly desalination plants are being built to cover temporary water shortages, rather than 24/7 long-term needs. In this interactive workshop utility leaders and plant suppliers come together to examine the politics and trade-offs involved in 'just-in-case' desalination.

New Propositions for Industrial Water Services - Many businesses struggle to justify the investment of capital and specialist expertise required to manage water efficiently. This workshop brings together corporate water users to discuss how new service partnership models can address industrial water management, bring shared benefits to clients and suppliers and reduce the social and environmental footprint of corporate water usage.
