On Wednesday, Feb. 27, Liberty Oilfield Services (ticker: LBRT) CEO Chris Wright will deliver the luncheon address. On Thursday,  Feb. 28, the luncheon keynote comes from Michael Plante, senior research economist for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.

It was just about a year ago when Wright took Liberty Oilfield Services public in an IPO. Wright’s company runs the “Quiet Fleet” which offers operators custom designed well completion services at a fraction of the decibel level of traditional equipment. Wright is also Executive Chairman of Liberty Resources, a privately-held E&P company, and was the Chief Executive Officer from its formation in September 2010 until March 2017. Wright founded Pinnacle Technologies, a company that revolutionized unconventional resources plays with the development and commercialization of tiltmeter and micro-seismic fracture mapping technology. Wright has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and conducted graduate work in electrical engineering at both the University of California-Berkeley and MIT.

Michael Plante joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas in July 2010. He received his PhD in economics from Indiana University in August 2009. Before coming to the Dallas Fed, Plante was an assistant professor at Ball State University for a year. His research interests include macroeconomics, monetary policy in developed and developing countries, and the connections between energy prices and the macroeconomy.
