Taking steps to grow production

As of the end of Q1, 2017, the company operated six rigs, with intent to maintain five or six rigs through the remainder of 2017. Jagged Peak is in the process of delineating the areal and vertical extent of its acreage, and is gradually moving east in its acreage as strong well results become apparent in the area.

The company has built its guidance such that it expects to complete between 14 and 16 wells in the Q2, 2017. As of June, it had completed seven of the anticipated wells. In Q3, it planned to complete between 13 and 15 wells and in Q4 between 16 and 18 wells.

In line with its growth in completions, Jagged Peak hopes to build production to between 26 and 28 MBOEPD for Q4, 2017.

Delineating

Jagged Peak is advancing further east in its pursuit of delineating the Wolfcamp play. Two production wells on the eastern edge had a peak rate of 3,579 BOEPD, and a third well is being drilled closer to what Jagged Peak considers the play’s edge.
