Significant changes in the company size and leadership is expected to yield higher product output, decreased lead times, and increased sales. Additional focus on production will allow the company to fulfill the growing product demand and allow the distributors and installers to continue to create the demand in the growing energy storage and solar market.
Shifting the company focus and workforce comes shortly after the initial shift in CEO in May. Conversations about optimizing the workplace for increased workflow and gearing the product toward satisfying its top customer demand needs necessitated a different way of thinking. JLM Energy COO Bob Montano said, "We analyzed our operating plan and didn't see a path to significant profitability without making some major changes. Orders for JLM Energy's plug-and-play MicroStorage, Phazr, continue to escalate; the only energy storage that mounts to solar racking, directly behind the solar panel. Shifting the workforce structure and company size will allow for higher product output and increased profits, allowing JLM Energy to focus on what's important, high quality products and customer service.
Solar installer Barry Cinnamon, writing this week for Greentech Media, gave the Phazr a generally positive review.
