Jonah Energy Announces BLM Release of Final Environmental Impact Statement of the NPL Natural Gas Project

Jonah Energy LLC announces the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) release of the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) on the Normally Pressured Lance (NPL) natural gas development project. Throughout the more than seven-year process, Jonah Energy has worked closely with the State of Wyoming, the BLM and environmental partners to ensure the project has minimal impact on the community, environment and wildlife.

Jonah Energy has a strong track-record of working with groups such as the Wyoming Governor’s Sage Grouse Implementation Team, the Wyoming Outdoor Council, The Nature Conservancy and the National Audubon Society to ensure that wildlife and the environment are protected.

The BLM estimates the economic impact of the NPL, which calls for up to 3,500 wells, will potentially bring $1.1 billion in tax revenue and 700 jobs to Wyoming’s state economy.
