HOUSTON, Aug. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- KBR, Inc. (NYSE: KBR) announced today that its global government services business, KBRwyle, has been awarded a $71 million task order to provide cybersecurity services for the Defense Health Agency (DHA).

The Navy's Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic awarded this three-year, cost-plus-fixed-fee task order under the SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-E) contract. KBRwyle has held a seat on SeaPort-E since 2005.

KBRwyle will carry out a range of other health IT efforts, such as program management, security controls, privacy requirements, and warranty management support. It will also provide critical cybersecurity tools, and maintain and enhance DHA's web-based platform for data management.

This work will be primarily performed at KBRwyle's Charleston, South Carolina office as well as DHA's headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia, and other locations throughout the U.S.

"KBRwyle has delivered cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to DHA since its inception," said Byron Bright, President, KBR Government Services U.S. "We will continue to work side by side with DHA as it delivers integrated, affordable and high quality health services to U.S. military members and their loved ones."
